Rules for the bay

These rules apply when you use Sufoc on iPhone to catalog paper books you already own.
What Sufoc is
Sufoc is a local shelf ledger. You scan a barcode or type an ISBN, photograph a jacket, set a reading status, and keep the record on this device. Filing a press card into Photos is optional and uses Leaves.
Zero tolerance
Do not store objectionable, exploitative, hateful, or illegal material in titles, spoken notes, jackets, or portraits. Sufoc may reject a title or name on the device. Repeated attempts can lead to the local bay being cleared.
Your books
Only catalog books you have a right to photograph. Do not use Sufoc to copy other people’s libraries or to run a public catalog.
Purchases
Leaves are consumable. They sit on this iPhone. Removing the app or using Delete Account removes remaining Leaves. Apple handles billing.
No account
There is no cloud account. Continue opens the bay on this phone. Log Out returns to the first screen. Delete Account clears local books, media, and remaining Leaves.
